Leadership Forged in the Fire

Some of the most valuable leadership lessons we can learn are the result of tough experiences. We don’t like making the bad call or being on the receiving end of others’ lousy decisions, but those difficult times have a way of honing our ability to lead, if we’re willing to learn through and from them.

Dr. Ed Young, senior pastor at Second Baptist Church, shared a great post on this topic of how leaders develop that I’d encourage you to check out. It’s a quick but very worthwhile read: How to spot a leader.
