Dare to Dream!

If you’ve followed this blog for a while then you know that my blog topics are usually inspired by conversations I’ve had with other leaders. The subject of pursuing your dream or even having a dream has come to the surface in several conversations I’ve had both personally and professionally in the past month.

Why do we make pursuing our dreams so difficult?

I think dreaming has to include careless thinking. Safe thinking kills dream making. To help determine your dream, ask yourself these questions:

  • What am I good at, not in comparison to someone else, but to me? When am I at my best? What makes me, me?
  • If money was no object, what would I do?
  • If I wasn’t too scared, what would I go for?
  • What seems unrealistic today because of my circumstances but I would do if things were different?
  • How do I currently impact others? How can I multiply this? (more…)
